O Wisdom that comest out of the mouth of the Most High, that reachest from one end to another, and orderest all things mightily and sweetly, come to teach us the way of prudence! O Sapientia,
quae ex ore Altissimi prodiisti, attingens a fine usque ad finem fortiter,
suaviterque disponens omnia: veni ad docendum nos viam prudentiae

This Antiphon talks about the peculiar features of Biblical Wisdom , as one can read in the Sapiential Books.
Wisdom belongs to God, expanded through all  the Universe and present during the Creation, when God made the sky and the earth with His Creative Word.
In the Old Testament, Wisdom is introduced  as Cooperator with God, Operator, Builder of the world, giving the life: It is also introduced as the possibility to know the human being, the things, the situations, the small and the great happenings through the God’s Light, Root of the life.
This gift from the Sky was requested  to God by Solomon at the beginning of his reign in order to become a fair chief of Israel ( Wisdom, 9-13). The Wisdom became his Bride.
Wisdom is not usual intelligence nor daily prudence , but a power coming from the Sky in order to know the reality and to get over life perils. One could say that it is  a reality in which we have the chance to find the Faith, the Life and the Truth.
The most high expression of the Biblical Wisdom is in  Christ.  He is his Father’s Word, the top of the Revelation, God’s Son descending  from the Sky to live with us and to communicate God’s deep life; He is God’s Wisdom in Itself ( 1 Cor. 1-30) and choses to live as a human being sharing our hearthly way as a friend.
Saint Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, underlines that the ancient Greeks looked for wisdom, (1 Cor. 1-22) but the Christian judgement is superior than the prideful Greek human wisdom, overtaken by the Cross’ Wisdom.
Christ, God’s Wisdom and Power, has put into the history a new energy coming from the Divine Life: to accept It means to find a precious pearl (Mat. 13-46), and we should sell everything in order to buy It.
